Orchestra playing soon in a tent?

Bonn - the Beethoven Hall is demolished. Now the question arises: Where are sounding the symphonies of Bonn's most famous son during the construction phase of the new Festspielhaus?
It's about two years, which must be bridged. From 2010 to 2012 will be dredged and screwed, then to Bonn's new temple of culture, be ready.
24 months without a world-class concerts can not afford the city. Creative interim solutions are needed. Just as in 1983 when a fire badly damaged the interior of the hall. Without further ado, the city had erected a huge tent with 1,700 seats on the forecourt of the hall.
While the score Mahler's 3rd Concerto Symphony listened, that's quiet as a mouse around. Street theater and Wachsbleiche were closed. On the Sandkaule the lights were switched on the green wave in order to avoid starting noise.
The Beethoven Orchestra may not yet warming to this idea. Spokeswoman Julia Schubert: "A tent is suitable on the acoustic characteristics is not applicable."
Ilona Schmiel, head of the Beethoven Festival, has no fear of the tent - or a "mobile solution," as she calls it. Offer your condition: The tent must be at least 1500 people and the place terklänge Meis may not be swallowed by the walls.
Schmiel asserts: "Our program will be top, as in previous years."
