Recall Campaign for Seat Ibiza
Stuttgart - The joy of scrapping and the new Seat Ibiza was great. But with 258 new car owners from all over Germany, it was short-lived:
The automaker has started because of possible problems with the hand brake a recall campaign. This affects models with the 77 kW/105 hp 1.6-liter gasoline engine and the seven-dual-clutch gearbox DSG.
According to the magazine "Auto Motor und Sport" under the circumstances to attach the shifter cable pull is not running correctly, so that the vehicle may roll away when parked on a slope without using the hand brake.
The Federal Motor Transport Authority has informed the holder concerned to be contacted by the manufacturer. In a 20-minute workshop stay the attachment is examined.
